Senator Russ Feingold deserves your support for several reasons. He has demonstrated a long-term commitment to working with Republicans and Democrats to balance the budget and reduce government spending.

In a personal way, he has not accepted pay raises during his term in office. Senator Feingold returns any automatic cost of living increases or pay increases, sending his share back to the treasury. He accepts an increase only after you re-elect him.

Senator Feingold questions spending billions of dollars in Afghanistan. He has said that this “may not significantly improve conditions on the ground and may actually prove counterproductive in stabilizing Pakistan and fighting al-Qaida in the region and around the world.”
