Published - Wednesday, July 16, 2008 Two hurt in deer-motorcycle crash Two people were hospitalized Saturday night after their motorcycle collided with a deer. Daniel J. White and his passenger, Shanna R. Rossa, were riding a motorcycle southbound on Hwy. 93 near Doris Guza Lane in Trempealeau County about 8:30 p.m. Saturday when a deer ran out from the westbound ditch and collided with the motorcycle, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department. Both were thrown from the motorcycle. White was taken to Luther Midelfort-Mayo System in Eau Claire, Wis., by Mayo One helicopter. A condition report was not available. Rossa was take to Franciscan Skemp Healthcare in Arcadia, Wis., by Arcadia Ambulance. A condition report was not available. Neither was wearing a helmet. Also responding at the scene were Independence First Responders and Fire Department.
